summer i was away from home and used server's email program, blamed that for the fact that how ever I entered my posts in the boxes, they would come out with lines of all different lengths, all jumbled and hard to read. Now I'm home and same thing happening using Safari..and I notice some other posts have these uneven lines too. What's with that? Miami Mo

Mo,
The reason you see uneven line lengths is because someone posted a link that was a string of text that was wider then the page. Had they used the UBB codes this would not have happened. For thost that do not know about the UBB codes you'll find them by Clicking Here
Gary, are you saying there's no way for me to control it if I'm replying in a thread that has long-line non-ubb link in it somewhere? than why sometimes is my reply is the only one that's line-whacko? ps..I just noticed that my lines were even placing this post, pretty ironic, eh? the complaint about the lines came out w/ nothing to complain about..LOL

Hi Just pasted your post into Word, and the reason you have uneven lines is because you have pressed the enter key, (Which means new line) instead of the space bar. Hope this helps

I'm not using Word or enter key, I'm filling out the box provoded by SZ and hitting 'submit reply" button
actually I'm hitting the return key, which is mac version of enter key. i had no idea you were supposed to just keep going and not ever hit that, so I hope you are right and the problem is now solved..so i'm going to send it off now and see if that's the solution, here I go stretching one more line, testing one, testing two, testing three, testing four...if this works, thanks.

I guess the question has already been answered. So the lesson is just don't press the enter key unless you want the line to break there otherwise just keep typing.
