When Scott isn't around here you can find him on http://www.tyros2.net/ where he is an administrator on the forum there.

I think I need to clarify. Though Kenneth Gunderson (chief administrator, moderator, and owner of & Tyros2.net) added me on as an additional administrator of his forum, this doesn't reduce my interest, activity or parcipation here, or any of the other keyboard forums I frequent. Nothing has changed for me. For Tyros2 keyboard specific discussion, I encourage & invite everyone here to visit & join : http://tyros2.net
but for general arranger keyboard discussion, the Synthzone 'general arranger' keyboard forum still reins.

To Yee or not to Yee, that is the question?
Just a note to remind you that the Louisiana JAM is scheduled for the last few days of April in Shreveport. Don Mason is the chief architect of this event. Since I could not get Don Henley to appear, (he had another event to do)I thought maybe Scott would be the next best thing.

Best regards from the Lone Arranger.

Hear ye . . . here Yee!
Rice. Man I really wish I could make what looks to be an historical Synthzone Shreveport Jam, especially realizing such seasoned pros like you, DonM, Boo, TomC, BillP, Hank, and EddieS are all gonna be there, and of which I KNOW I'd learn "A LOT" from. Unfortuantely, I've already got that weekend BOOKED.

Shreveport SZ jam attendees. Please REMEMBER to not only take pics, but record & post some video clips of your jam session performances for us as well. I hope this might include a video clip of Don Mason showcasing his live keyboard emulated 'pedal steel guitar' playing techniques (utilizing the pitch bend wheel) while concurrently playing in auto accomp arranger mode. Believe it or not, I'm still not able to pull this off, so the opportunity to actually watch Don do this, would be a fantastic treat.

Ok guys, if Don Henley ends up canceling his 'other event' to attend the SZ Shreveport Jam, I promise to do the same, and fly to Shreveport for this memorable SZ Jam as well. Scott

I just talked to don Henley...He said he didn't know anything about the SZ get together...but, he can make it.....
Of course , it is not the famous Don Henley..do you guys still want him to come down..He can't sing or play anything, and someone would have to watch this 10 year old..

Scott,

I was hoping you'd be able to make it to Cajun country. I wanted to hear the master on his new Tyros 2. Once you get past the crawdad thing it's a pretty nice place. You would have to put up with Don showing pictures of his new grandson though.

Tom

P.S. Don emailed me a picture of Maddox. A handsome little dude he is!

Tony,

You have to buy at least 2 of Don's rejected keyboards to make it to the top of the list.

Tye,

April 28, 29, 30. Don has a gig on Friday the 28th but it is a supper club open to the public. I hope to eat, drink and be listening to the new grandpa.

Tom, are you kidding me? I'm a huge crawdad fan, and love scarving them down whenever I'm down in Louisiana. Hey, I might even be able to give Cajun crawdaddy eating king, Boo Hargis, some competition, in a crawfish eating contest. Afterall, we Chinese are reputed to eat just about everything from a pig, except its' squeal.

Scott,

Yes, I was kidding you. I've had crawfish and they are pretty good. I still prefer lobster, king crab and shrimp but I hope to eat a few down in Shreveport. I wasn't kidding you about wishing you could be there. Jamming with you in San Jose was fun and I hope to do it again someday.
