Got my new tyros today thanks to Uncle Dave, Also got a nice Yamaha case and A Yamaha Hard drive as a bonus that I wasn't expecting, what a deal.
Now I've gotta start rewoking all my tunes and exploring the possibilities.

Yipppieeeee !
Mike was on the "goody goody" end of my B3 deal from last week. We played some "Let's make a deal" and everyone is happy.
The B3 got traded to a store that was tired of looking at the (new) Tyros, he sold the B3 outright to a sound company in Philly that needed a "living room" condition unit for TV appearances, I traded Mike for a psr3k(studio backup), 2k(trade fodder) and some ca$h, then I traded the 2k(never took it out of the box) for a G1000(Han out in California) that's due here any day now. Whew ..... what a roundabout way to get a backup 3k for the studio !

So, to recap:

I have a G1000 that's looking for a home !
See F/S section for details !

Congratulations to both of you for getting what you want.

I'm looking to get a reasonably priced hard disk recorder. Anyone have a used one for sale?

I have a Tascam Portastudio 488 8-Track Cassette that I want to part with. Anyone want to buy it?

Uncle Dave, glad you've cleaned up your Tyros since that awful fire and subsequent flooding in your studio. I don't know what's worse - the water damage or the smoke damage!?!?!?!?

Just in case you guys were wondering, here's where I picked that one up from : http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/009095.html

I may sell mine. I've had it for about two months and haven't even turned it on yet.
It's a Fostex VF80 with HD and CD Burner.
Let me think about it!

No SHREDDING or ERASING of incriminating evidence allowed on SZ.

Uncle Dave, do I sense a hint that you're upset with me about this? , It was only meant in good humor. I had figured since it was obviously acceptable to you when you wrote it, you wouldn't mind being on the receiving end this time. Ok, cheer up, you've finally sold your 'mute' keyboard. Be happy. We're friends afterall. - Scott

Oh, and I almost forgot . . . Mike, a great BIG welcome to the Tyros fan club. Looking forward to hearing your music played on the Tyros. - Scott

Scott,
Rest easy, my friend ... all's well in archive world.
I know you were kidding, but I really am amazed at how you save all this stuff. I erase emails the second after I read them.
It was funny both times !

Well you all know that I try to keep past postings here as long as I can. So anything you post here will probably remain for years and years.
