Don, I think you're correct about their effect on pricing in the industry. However, it's a lot easier to undercut the competition when you're taking advantage of their R@D. We condemn China for reverse-engineering, cloning, flat-out stealing, etc., other's technology; why not Behringer? Could it be that we've become addicted, ala WalMart, to those low, low, prices? And ultimately, doesn't this hurt the industry, and by extension, ourselves, in the long run? Just a thought.
BTW, I'm as guilty as anyone as I sit here looking at my FCV100 (at $24.00, larger, better built, and functionally better than the EV5 it replaced) and my ADA8000 (best bargin in the industry), and my ...... oh, what the hell.
