Ho Ho Ho! It's almost Christmas!

I thought you might enjoy hearing some selections from past Christmas CD's that my band Impact has recorded. The female vocalist's name is Laura Langland. She has hired our band for the past five years to arrange and record Christmas CD's.

Merry Christmas to All!

Dave nice recordings..

Dave, what is your piano instrument on Celebrate me home? It sounds pretty good to me..

I particularly like Baby it's cold outside...the inter play on vocals is great..

Hi Fran,

I used my Promega 3 on Celebrate Me Home. That was the Fazioli 10'3" Concert Grand physical model. I did a little tweaking to the sound to mellow it out just a bit and I was very happy with the results.

I enjoyed singing the male vocal part on Baby its Cold Outside. Laura and I did our vocal tracks on different nights at the studio but they seemed to mesh together pretty well anyway.

Merry Christmas!

Dave

Dave,

Thanks for sharing. I agree with Fran, the Promega 3 sounds terrific.

p.s. Is you band active or did you go solo?

Happy Holidays

Thank you. I also meant to point out that the same piano sound (without the physical modeling characteristics) is in the Genesys Pro series.

Our band has retired. However, it is likely that we will still get together for back-up work with the Doo-Wop shows around the area. If someone were to make a movie about our band, if would almost definitely be titled "The Band That Would Not Die".
