So what are the missing features in the 3000 that a live performer might look for in the S-900?

Zuki,

Although I've been able to adapt and do without it, the addition of aftertouch would be nice.

Diki's suggestion of adding a chord sequencer would also be a real benefit, but I can't see it happening.

I think the PSR-S900's biggest draw will be the Super Articulated voices.

Those alone will be a treat for the ears.
