Another Mr. Mom here. The wife landed a good job, and not wanting our kids raised by a babysitter, I became a full time house husband, and remained a part time musician. As they became older, I was able to resume giving private piano lessons again. We raised six of them, the youngest off to college this year. I would do it again in a heartbeat if I had it to do over. Make sure you enjoy them now while you have the chance. They grow up fast...Gary

Congrats! Best job if you can get it. I was at home with my oldest while my wife worked (professor at university). I would drive him during the day to her office to nurse.
Now I work at home so I am with the kids all day. As I said it is a great job if you can get it. I get all of the "firsts." First words, steps, reading, understanding calculus. Only you will enjoy that more than anyone on the planet.
When I stayed at home there was not a large support group for stay at home fathers. Now that has changed and that will help a bunch too.
