One cool thing about recording our performances is the ability to go back and hear how we've changed (hopefully for the better, heehee) in our playing style and ability, as I see music as a lifelong path of continuing discovery & development. Thanks to those who replied for the comments along the way.

3k,tyros,s900 all the same.
Donny . . . Wrong!
They are NOT all the same. In addition to minor software programing tweaks made to the Tyros2 VH by Michel Voncken, the Tyros2 vocal harmonizer includes an brand new "VOCAL RANGE" parameter setting not available on Tyros1 or before. There are 3 "Vocal RANGE" settings to choose from:
1) Upper (high)
2) Normal(norm)
3) Lower (low)
The "NORMAL" setting is a 'compromise setting' to accomodate BOTH male & female voices, "UPPER" setting specifically targeted for female voices, and the "LOWER" setting specifically targeted for optimizing VH tracking for lower (baritone/bass) voices like myself.
The Yamaha S900 now incorporate this important feature as well, providing better VH tracking & improved Vocal harmony results.
