Scott,

Just a little correction...the PSR-S700 does not have vocal harmony.

Donny....In all fairness, please post something you have done through your Ketron or Roland for a comparison.....I have nothing to compare Scots songs with and must say they sound good to me with the VH, even though I'm not a fan of the VH....give us your take on it all with your tunes.....thanks....TR

Great suggestion, Tony...I would like to hear something from the Ketron stable as well.

Thanks for posting your music Scott. I liked the songs you chose and thought you did a good job. I'm usually not a fan of any harmonizer. However, I thought your voice was a good fit for the one in the Ty2.

Take care,

Chris

Ok Donny, hmmm. we're STILL waiting for that Ketron SD1+ demo (live auto accomp arranger playing with vocals) you'd been promising to share with us.

That said, I'm first to concur that Tyros2's built in VH sound quality not on par with dedicated standalone VH harmonizer units from TC Helicon or Digitech, or even the ones included in Roland G70, Ketron SD1+, or Korg PA800, but it certainly (if you simply adjust settings properly) delivers decent sounding results, especially for live gigs, and other than the small anti Yamaha(?) minority here on SZ, I continue to receive nothing but praises from both audience, clients, and fellow pro musician/singers about the sound. Interestingly enough, I also own a standalone vocal harmonizer unit: "TC Helicon VoiceWorks", yet, ever since I've upgraded to Tyros2, no longer have the need to take it on gigs, reserving it primarily for studio work only now.

Chris, as one who admires your music & respects your musicianship, I value your opinion highly, so especially appreciate your kind words. Thanks. - Scott

I just played these tunes again as I haven't heard some for awhile. I enjoyed them all. YOu really do fine work. I am happy you are one of us and allways willing to share.
We just returned from a week across the road and over the ridge from the 50,000 acre fire in Coe State Park. We were in the motorhome celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary at Casa De Fruta RV Park, sharing space with firemen, fire engines, helicopeters, and support people at 106 degrees one day and no power for our air conditioners and no water one day because the fire took it all. It is good to be back to civilization and hearing good music again from one of our best performers.
thanks Scott for sharing,
Bebop

Scott ....
I guess you'll have to wait for the next acquisition if at all....lately posting any music on here just leads to controversy, disingenuous remarks, & what have you....simply not worth it.
