which is a better deal?

similar priced in local area (G 600-400$)(PSR 2000 550$).which one would you consider?sound quality wise is roland G600 (what's the ROM size?)better than 2K?

UD or FRAN?( i think you both had G series(1000) and 2k,right?)

Hi,
I would prefer PSR 2000 because the styles are with 4 variations (G 600 only 2, the other "varaitions" are generated by muting of some tracks).
G 600 isn't easy to use (small display, to much sub menus) and contains no long sample voices, like "Sweet flute")
When you want the G 600 voices, look for a Roland tone generator (JV, XV or a second hand sound canvas SC 88 pro, sounds like G 1000).

My friend has 2 keyboards: PSR-2000, and G-600, I never saw him play G-600 after he bought PSR-2000(probably because of vocal harmonizer), I PERSONALY like the G-600`s layout of front panel, because its more vintage type/look and is kinda "calm", but psr-2000 is totaly new type..., in fact the PSR-2000 is better than G-600, but its kinda hard to judge because of different manufactures.
Yamaha has more stuuf for Techno music,
Multipads, HIT Drum set is VERY Nice!!
G-600 is more for older type of Pop styles and
basicaly G-600 is more better for older music, PSr-2000 for new or wedding type ROLAND Has drum variations Basic Advanced types..
but Yamaha is Yamaha, Roland is Roland depends wich one Roland or Yamaha sounds you like better even thou time separates these 2 but its almost like taking any roland and comparing with any Yamaha...

Thanks guys.G 600 has basic /advance-normal /variation+4 drum patterns for each styles.but OS seems to suck.
how are those 128 styles?in g 600.are they worse than yam 2K?
I am seeing even more G1000 guys are trading their roland for tyros or 3k.
