I love that song....and how about "One Voice" Man .... the harmonies !

Personally, the 50s CD left me wanting more, and I doubt that I'll love the 60s one, but gimmie his 70s any day !
"The old songs", "Mandy" ....... good stuff.
And, I'm sure you all know - he DIDN'T write "I write the songs".
Funny, huh?

In the early '80's we called him Barely ManEnough. Who had the last laugh? Twenty-five years later and his success has outlasted us all.

He also didn't write "I deserve a break today".
A girl by the name of Ginny Reddington did.

During his last road tour, best seats went for $1,400 a pop and he packed every show. Not too shabby. Tickets for his Vegas show are about $300. You would think that you could catch a 'red eye' round tripper, see the show and save about $800.
Ciao,
Jerry

As a kid in high school in the late 70's...The guys I enjoyed the most were Manilow, Elton John and Billy Joel...

Not easy in a school where Blue Oyster Cult and Molly Hatchet were the favorites...

All three of those guys are, IMO, living legends...pure and simple.
