cOME ON GUYS...help me out on this one..In london Ontario nobody carries these once...well not in stock....Help me out..It is time for me to order...ooooo...I have EV's PSX1000 powered mixer...so I need good speakers....

I'd go with mackies...I think if you compare apples to apples...they are better. But the Ev's are great also, They are lighter weight and Scott Ye and Unlce Dave love em. That would be good enough for me. Have you actually listened to the two at a demo? I would recommend you take the extra time, hop in your car and find a place that will demo the two. Or, go to the local wedding banquet hall, and quietly slink in while the DJ is setting up and listen to those and different systems. The one thing I do know, every time I make a rushed decision, I end up re-doing something, or regretting my impatience. Take your time....That's my 2 cents...But I reiterate...my vote is for the mackies...Good Luck B2

hi....no problem...Thanks for reply.. The thing here is..[I live in London Canada] I can't try EV's...Nobody carries them./..And Mackies,I did tri SRM 450 Powered once...I tried them with mackie mixer..I have EV's psx 1000 powered mixer,so I can't try any of these...Too bad..I would like to...Here they have Yorkville,and Crate..But I'm not realy impressed with any of them...Even uncle dave told me to take Mackies,but you said he's got EV's....I still don't know what to do...hehee...

Nobby, I tried, but something, whether it was my computer or the forum administrator server wouldn't let me...I received a message that basically said I wasn't the administrator blah blah blah....However, I do notice now that there are only 1 copy of the message and originally, there were 3, so something took. Thanks for the encouragement though....I'll do better next time...honest...
