OK....sometimes I see the coolest thing and think about how it might help a keyboard player .

How about a card ( size of a credit card) that will magnify the writing on a keyboard , lcd display , set list , writing on a floppy disk etc..... ???

Oh ....it has a built in light that illuminates what your looking at .

Menu's ? A book at night ? The chick trying to pick you up ?

The card is as thick as a credit card !

Dan,
Or just buy a Tyros....the screen after years of squinting at tiny keyboard screens is like looking at widescreen TV.

No question Terry , the Tyro's screen is great . But what about all the writing on the keyboard itself , not the screen . The player be able to highlight and magnify the lettering in a dark room .

I have one customer who has bad eye's . He can see , but he needs to get up real close to see the small lettering .

I'm thinking of giving them away to elderly customers .

Average age for arranger keyboard customers ?

I would say .......56 yrs old .

Solved this problem 10 years ago when I purhcased 18-inch strips lights and mounted them just above the keyboard. I have a friend who actually mounted his directly on the keyboard. They put out just enough light to clearly see the keyboard's writing and buttons, but not enough to create a glare or be obvious. You will find tham in most hardware stores for about $15 to $20.

Cheers from an old man,

Gary
