Thought I would let you hear this scatch demo of a promo song for a charity event a friend of mine is working on. He had asked me to add a piano track or whatever. Well it ended up being WHATEVER. He gave me a CD he burned on his computer, so I could get a feel for his song. I in turn ripped it onto my computer then converted it to a wave file and transferred it to the Tyros 2 to have a go at it. On the CD he gave me, he had layed down a vocal track and an acoustic guitar and some basic rythem track all recorded on Power Tracks I believe. So with all the file type changes, fidelity is of course not high. Anyway thats pretty much it.

Hear it is

Very nice, Dennis.
I had trouble hearing the lyrics, other than the hook. But, the lilting melody with the flavoring of piano, strings and guitar (all Tryos2, I presume) were captivating and memorable. Nice job.

Beautiful composition all around. Right choice of instruments too. All well played. I agree the vocals need to come up in the mix as well.

Dennis,
I liked what you did with the song. It sounds good and that you are doing it for a charity makes it even better. Good Work!

I enjoyed this song nice job musicaly.....vocals were easy to hear on this end......sounds like a great charitable cause.......my personal only opinions are these:

bring up the key a few steps to force a bit more power in the vocals.

good luck & thanx for sharing
