I think Diki has a good point there. Perhaps it would be better if you posted a price for the G-70 alone. He's right in that not everyone is going to need or want everything you're selling with it.

Dear Diki & other;

Concerning your statement about warranty hassels. Infact the warranty on the G-70 is not tranferable to the next owner. The second owner would be left to make any repairs out of pocket, which may be a concern with a newly released keyboard. That should be factored into the equation, when pricing is being determined.

In Germany you get the G 70 at about 2300 Euro (2780 $), new, full warranty. The official price is about 2990 Euro, but I think it sells not as good as Roland makes us think. But other top of the line instruments fall in price as well, Tyros as "Demo" with full warranty at about 2150 Euro (2600 $) and Pa1x pro at about 2000 Euro (2420 $).

Seems like even though it's soooo hard to get a new G-70 at dealers (?), and most dealers won't go below $3,500-$3,700 for a new G-70, people are still not banging down doors to get it.

My eBay auction for the G-70 (which ran for 10 days), plus a pair of Roland DS-5 speakers (approx. $389.95 value), and more didn't go for even $3,200! Go figure!

Does Roland have a dud on their hands?

I did follow the advice given here and seperated the G-70 from the accessories, and listed them again. Time will tell. We'll see!
