I'm considering the Yamaha PSR2000
as a relatively inexpensive 'secondary backup' gigging keyboard to my Technics KN5000.
1) What is the PSR2000's weight and dimensions?
2) I read here that the 'keyboard action' is a bit lightweight. How does its' feel compare with the Technics KN5000 & Korg PA80?
3) How does the PSR2000's 'acoustic piano' sample sound compared to the Korg PA80's?
4) How good do Technics KN styles sound on PSR keyboards (when converted to Yamaha PSR format via EMC style converter)?
4) Does the PSR2000 (as both the PSR9000 & 9000pro already do) support (in either split or full keyboard mode(s), rootless 'jazz style' chord voicing recognition? PSR2000 owners, please TEST the following jazz chords & asscociated voicings & let me know:
Split or full keyboard modes:
chord left hand voicing
Dm9: (F-C-E)
G13: (F-B-E)
C69: (E-A-D)
C7(9): (E-Bb-D)
C13: (Bb-D-E-A)
G13: (B-E-F-A)
Full Keyboard Mode only:
chord lt hand right hand
F13: (Eb-A-D) (G-C-F)
C7(9): (E-Bb-D) (G-C-F)
Thanks in advance for all feedback.
