We already decided about the S700, unless I can find a deal on something else tomorrow [4th of July @GC]
e
Anyway, for a moment we've decided on the Roland GW-7, we found this one on Craigs List: http://austin.craigslist.org/msg/360163115.html

I contacted the owner, he has a legit e-mail, he sent me the paypal request and asked me for my address, I replied telling him that I did not have the $400.00 in my paypal account, but I'll deposit the $400.00 as soon as I recieved actual pics of the keyboard, and some more info. about him,[where he lives, phone number etc..] he did not replied, I sent him a second e-mail, I told him I was a member of the Synthzone forum, and Harmony Central forums, I told him that I live in Dallas, TX, and that if he lived 3 to 4 hours away I was willing to pick up the keyboard, I sent him a third e-mail telling him that as soon as I received the information requested on my previous e-mail I will deposit the money on his account.

I received a paypal request cancellation e-mail....

Was it a scam? Did I scared him?

Seems very fishy to me, Vilo. Most sellers would prefer personal pick-up as they won't have to bother with shipping and the hassles that go along with it (just read Bebop's and Stephen's recent posts).

Let's us know what happened, okay?

Sounds like you were lucky and you answered your own question.

Today, I tried to buy the Roland Cube from Craigs List too, and the e-mail was not valid

If a deal seems too good to be true... it usually is.

Buy from a reputable dealer, pay a LITTLE more money than the fly-by-nighters, and sleep easy.
