HI,

Last night brought the EVsxa100 speakers to my dance club and gave them an all night tryout in front of a big crowd 200+ and I must admit I was impressed. I had One on a pole and one on the floor to bounce off the ceiling into the crowd. They sounded very Crisp with searing vocals in the highs and nice tight bass which I love. I EQ'd them high (2) Low (1). Even when I pumped them on songs like "She Bangs" and "Hot Hot Hot" there was no distortion. I dig those little feet you can add on to use the Sxa100 for a floor monitor too. Another thing I noticed that they were very nicely balanced while carrying them.
If your looking for a quality powered speaker system I highly recommend them.

Yeah, yeah, yeah ......... Donny is keeping my EV's. I'm E V less!(well, technically, I still have the SX80's at home ......wherever THAT is)
Since I change gears so often, I figured I'd letr Donny run with the EV's for a while. It's not like my life will change so much with the Barbetta's. (By the way - they're STILL for sale .....always ! )

The EV's will be a great addition to Donny's new XD9, and the Barbetta's will have a brief, but eventful vacation with me ..... till they hit the streets !

Wish I were closer to join you. My job is only 7-10 tonight, but still not time enough to get to the East Coast from Louisiana.

Any one tried the JBL EON G2s?
I use 2 of them and play in a room with 400 people in it and they handle very good.
