Neat concept, about 185-watts RMS less power than the Z-5500, but it has the added advantage of being able to position speakers anywhere in the venue, set the volumes independently, and the satellite speakers have apparently improved on their mid range aspects. $499 ain't bad when you consider what you're getting, and I'm sure the street price will be considerably lower in a few months.

Thanks DNJ,

Gary

Your welcome Gary...... the REMOTE speaker concept brings the 5.1 concept up a notch in Flexability, less wires on stage, & could prove to be a nice Small to Medium room sound system....worth a look.

I've just ordered one of these from DABS for
£156.00. Should have it in a couple of days.

Watch for a review of these speakers at
Digital Content Producer Magazine
in the very near future. Bottom line?
I brought them!

I read a review of this system and as soon as I realised that only the rear speakers were wireless and still required mains power to each of them anyway, I cancelled the order.

Pernaps a later model yet to come may do the job properly.
