I would love to hear demos of the (WHA) effects on other members keyboards. (please post if ya got em) I'm including a 15 second demo here of a (WHA) guitar or (CryBaby) that I edited on my Casio WK-3500.

Honestly I have not heard this effect on any arranger keyboard other than the WK-3500. I couldn't even get the PSR-2000 to re-create this sound. Anyways here's my guitar (this guitar shows why I like the funky side of music). I'm using the YouSendIt site (Hey it's free!)

What do you all think of the Casio's Wha effects?????

The SD1 has very good wa-wa, and it is easily assignable to the volume pedal with one button punch. I don't use it much, but it is very good.

I remember hearing Dan01 demoing the SD1 at NAMM in LA and featured the wah pedal in part of his routine.

It is good to know the Casio WK3500 has the same capability. That really is a great electric guitar sound Squeak. Almost thought it was going to launch into Voodoo Chile. I'm really impressed that the Casio sounds that good.

I can do very similar on my TYROS.

I made a few wha and distortion guitars using the custom voice editor. When I get back to NY next week, I'll try to post a sample.

Don't ask me why the keyboard companies don't make some natural killer electric guitars - but at least on the Yamaha, the effects and DSPs allow you to make some pretty amazing sounds.

WOW! Squeak! That was great! I think the remarkable point to make here is that while other boards can do similar effects, not many can do it for the bargain price of $399!!! and they threw in a FREE GINZO! Oh wait, that was another offer. LOL!

Glad everyone liked the sound. Being an MP3 it really doesn't do the sound justice either, but gives an idea. The cool part about this effect is if you don't want to edit the effect it still sounds killer. I tweeked it on my board because I wanted it to sound "live". I would still love to hear the wha effects on other models.

Linda, if you like this sound I can send it to you and I'm sure it will work in your WK-3700, and if anyone else who has a WK-3000/3500/3200/3700 like it I'd be more than happy to send it to others owners.

Yea. That is a very nice sound. Sounded like you were just about to go into Jimmy Hendrix version of The Star Spangled Banner.
Were you playing the keys with your teeth?
