Nigel,the problem I'm encountering in creating wider columns is that the curve in the associated top graphic is blocking the ability to move the the left column (table cell?) further to the left. Perhaps once I figure out how to create and split existing tables (cells: columns/rows?) I'll then be able move it further left. The reason I don't want to widen the columns 'to the right' is because this would require people who have 800 'pixel width' (or less) monitors to scroll 'right & left' to view the text.

Hi Graham, I've gone ahead & taken your suggestion
and removed those 10 line dashes which wrapped around in 'largest' text size mode. The text should now (hopefully) look fairly presentable in all text size modes (from 'smallest' to 'largest') now.
I really appreciate all the valuable advice & input you guys have given me in helping me make my website look better. Thanks again.
