Team,

This may be short notice, but we are in the process of planing a Ketron Workshop in Arizona for the last weekend in April, 2006 (SD1Plus - EXP, SD5 and Midijay will be available).

Please let me know those who will be interested, ideas, suggestions. There will be lost's to eat, drink and chat about so all are welcomed to come party and have some fun!! I might also have the Yamaha Tyros2 and Roland G70 for comparison ...etc (not yet confirmed).

Thanks,

AJ

Hi AJ,

Count me in! I would be very interested to hear your demo and learn about these Ketron products. Please tell us more details – exact location, time, etc.

Please let me know what are the dates and where is going to be held the event, I am interested (As former SD1 owner) in participating, I want to see/check the SD5.
If you need a Tyros2, I own one, but depending on what dates and times, I can let you use it. (I gig a lot).

That's fine, but I don't understand why you just didn't come to Louisiana that weekend, since we were already getting together, and you were invited weeks ago.

AJ, I also would of thought that you would have come to our jam in Shreveport. Especially since I'm one interested in the midjay, and Don already has one to demonstrate. What a drag. Sometimes you wonder what makes folks tick.
If it weren't for Shreveport I'd go to Scottsdale. That where my buddy Jack Ness thatI get to jam with lives.
If anyone figures this out let me know again what I'm missing OK?

AJ,

You must definitely have Manuel Dorantes participating in the demo. He is the Arranger Wizard of Arizona and his playing skills are on par with Michel Voncken and Peter Baartman.

Manuel’s keyboard of choice was the Ketron SD-1 before he switched over to the Tyros2. He knows the interfaces of these keyboards inside out. There is nothing like having a top-flight Arranger demonstrated live by a trained professional.

Team,

The workshop in AZ will be Saturday April 29th, 2006 from 11am - 6pm or later. I am still waiting for confirmation from one of our sponsors (who will have the exact location for me by next week).

We are also in coordination with one of the largest Music stores in AZ plus some famous country musicians who are willing to stop by (since our sponsor is in good standing with Dolly Paton, we might be seeing her too - great chance to expose arrangers to those country stars!). This is why I had/have no control over the dates DonM ... we're being invited and this is the only opening available until July!! by July, I might be back in Italy for further developments for a week or two... sorry about the clash!!

mdorantes - if I can borrow your Tyros 2 for that day, that would be nice - it'll save me flying all over the place with 3 keyboards!!! I really appriciate your assistance on this.

Thanks,

AJ
