Allthough good advices , there's only one way . Tell them you wanna pick it up and pay cash.
If I suspect a scam this is allways what I do.
If you cannot pickup , report to E-Bay immediately! They might even have stolen someone's ID.

Hi Fran, it doesn'look very promising.
The newest Roland high end arranger, only very recently available in the States and on selected shops only, for sale, in the hands of someone who is on Ebay for a little more than a year and has no musical buying or selling past, (at least not the past 90 days, except an amplifier and a subwoofer enclosure) on a 1-day auction listing?
On the other hand, if you have the time, and a fast internet connection, you can wait until it is about 10 min to the end and then bid, then see what happens.

Just for kicks, I e-mailed him with a serial # request and when & where did he buy it asked why he was selling it....no answer. ------------------ ViLo HE'S COMING, MAKE MUSIC, GET READY!

This is the sellers reply, way after the acution ended: "Hello, My name is Cesar Padilla and I'm a sales manager at a storage company. We had a local warehouse that we are trying to get rid of our inventory so we can either restock it or sell it, we haven't decided which yet. I can guarantee you that all keyboards are in perfect condition, brand new in box. All keyboards have warranty directly from the supplier. I don't believe in misleading our customers because if we do decide to restock, we want to keep you as a customer. Also with each purchase we include a thank you card and a free gift. Due to this kind of in a rush situation we offer prices a bit lower then normal. The price that we ask for this keyboard is $2300 USD with all shipping and handling costs included. We normally use UPS express for shipping but we are opened to any other suggestions. I have in mind both my security and your security for a possible deal so I am willing to work with a protection program offered by eBay. Using this program you will have a 3 day period for inspecting the item before confirming to eBay that either you are going to keep the keyboard or return it and get your money back from eBay. Let me know also if you want to buy the product and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. Thank you and I hope to close our deal soon," Cesar Padilla
