Don't you know that it is one of ways that Roland makes a publicity with their product by using eBay. By this way, they will know how G-70 is interested by people, how many people and on what time?
It could be the Roland guy that sells you the namm demonstration machine. 900 USD is not expensive for the buyer and nor the seller. This is the way to make publicity with statistics on this new product.

I still have my doubts, this guy writes in broken english, has anspanish name, yet when I requested more info, in spanish he's reply was: "Please write english"...His either filipino or he's playing games.

Another thing: What about if the person that won the auction belongs to the same ring?

Anyone can easely do that buy having your friend or a family member bid for the item....and then pretend he won and he's satisfied give him a good review etc etc...
