I use & recommend the zip utility called Winzip (shareware). You can download their free evaluation version (30 days?) here: http://winzip.com/ A listing of other zip utility program options (some are totally free) are listed here: http://www.tucows.com/system/comp95.html Instructions for zip compression are included with the software documentation.
