I'm glad I was around giging during those times years ago when I started..
as good as musical technology is, is as bad as it is somtimes, if you catch my drift.

But the interaction with other musicians is still missing ... I think that's the point ...

demoing for Wersi. Rick was all heart and taste, Cooper played so fast you could not follow him.

There is a bit of magic/excitement that does not happen often between musicians� it�s a high that brings excitement. There was interplay between musicians, feelings thrown in all directions.
You not only played off your own feelings but off the other musician�s feelings multiplying the excitement.

When I played for singer (guitar) I was part of what they were doing. I felt what they were doing, I felt their feelings and added mine.

Recently I played guitar with the sax player/singer I used in my band for many years, he now plays a single with recorded backgrounds. After a half-hour of singing and playing together he said, �How come I can sing better with you backing me on your guitar�?

OK, off my sop-box, just beautiful memories, the wheel must turn.
