I got another 2k.... but I forgot some of the basics I ned a refresher [help ; [icon_smile.gif] ]
I want to assign pedal 1 to sustain....and pedal 2 to Voc harmony permanantly upon power up is this possible....I tried it in function/controller... but it defalts back to factory on powerup .....is there a majic way to do this?

Hi Donny,

As you may (or not) remember, Yamaha PSR keyboard's don't store setting after you turn the keyboard off, so you need to first create & store (in the PSR2000's USER Reg area) a custom Registration Memory file which includes your prefered pedal settings.

Once this is done, everytime you boot up the kb, you'll need to remember to load this Reg file. This might seem like a hassle at first, but trust me, it will quickly become second nature.

gotcha!!!! its all commin back to me....set up a reg with the setting you want and then lets say its reg 1-1......upon powerup always hit reg 1-1 and ped settings will remain set thruout your performance....even when changing to other registrations also? correct?

Just remember to uncheck pedal assigments in all other regs.
