Big hello to everyone! After few days reading desided to join.

I got my first "synth" when I was 7 years old(Nearly 20years ago). Ever since I never could live without music.

I own a PSR2000 (for the last two weeks!! )
It´s a real improvement to PSR740!!

So BIG GREETINS to all of you from Finland!

P.S. Forgive me, my english is not very good...yet..

Yambox,
Welcome to the forum. Your English is far better than my Finnish is, which I know zero words of.

Thanks!!

At the moment temperature is 23 degrees C. Finally cools down a bit. Last week it was 34 degrees C. Too much for me!!

My first synth was not actually a real synth.. It was a very cheap Yamaha PSR500 or was it 550, I really can´t remember. After that I´ve had Casio, Roland E-68, Yamaha PSR740 and now PSR2000..

2 Years ago I sold my 740 thinkin "I don´t need to play anymore" . What was I REALLY THINKING??? And now after hard saving and hard work I at last brought home PSR2000 and for now, I´m really in heaven

On se hienoa, että täällä on muitakin suomalaisia. Tähän asti minä olen tainnut olla ainoa suomalainen tällä foorumilla. Itse soittelen Yamaha Tyroksella.

Terveisin,
Micco

Loistavaa!!!

Olisin itsekkin ostanut Tyroksen. Hinta vaan oli mulle liian kova.. Ehkä vielä joskus.

Welcome to the forum. As the owner of a pair of 2000s I can assure you that you will have lots of fun exploring all the options available with this great keyboard. If you get to a point where something is difficult to understand, you can always depend on getting good, solid answers from the folks at www.psrtutorial.com which is hosted by Joe Waters.

Good Luck,

Gary

Once again, I agree: I suggest that finnish becomes the official language of this Forum.

YamBox,
Welcome! I just passed my year anniverary with my PSR2000 and try not to let a day go by without me enjoying it. I'm still learning different features of it. You will have a great time with it.
This forum is the best place for information and a great group of people.
Enjoy,
- Brian

You are very welcome Yambox

It is about time we had some young blood in the forum

If you reverse your age you get quite close to a lot of us (including me) but most of my favourite artists are the same age anyway.

Hope it's not too long before we can hear some of your songs.
cheers
Eddie

Hi Yambox,

You're gonna like it here, I'm sure.
Although you are still at a very tender age, you will have to put up with the rantings of a few old masters on this forum, some of whom have an age which is the same as yours in reverse (having read your excellent english, I am sure that you will understand)

Let us have some of your compositions soon.
cheers
Eddie

Thanks everyone!!

At the moment I´m still figuring out few details in my psr2k. Trying out things like different settings, Voice creation ect.

Mixing console is bit confusing to me. I allready found out how to change effects in previosly recorded song but I don´t know how to save these changes. Could someone help me on this one? And tell me what else mixing console is able to in song mixing(voice change, volume ect)

Before you can here me playing I have to buy ?cords? to connect my psr to computer.

One more thing: could someone correct my english? What is the word in ??
