Priorities. A new car costs in the area of $20,000, a house a couple hundred thousand. In that context, keeping the latest greatest tools from my trade is a no-brainer.

Man your vicious. Here I'm in a wheelchair and can only play the sax and a little keyboard in this condition. I'm blind in one eye, my dog and wife both left me this morning and my car was stolen yesterday, the rent is 3 months behind, they turned my lights off yesterday and the neighbor doesn't have any more food for me she just called. Oh yes! and the toilet won't flush!!!!

You won't miss the electricity. You don't see that well anyway, and the sax runs on lung power, of which you have an abundance.
