Understanding how to use the 16 track sequencer, is the first step...Roland sequencers are better than the competition in the same price range..
Most people are dismissing the sequencers on these entry level boards without on hands[with direction] applications..

Don't forget George sells the GW-7 for $595, not $1,595...

What I like about the GW-7 manual...it makes notations about "what the GW can't do"..

Don't sell this board short without really understanding the benefits....128 user tones[meaning after you edit you can save for recall]

Same with user drum sets and performances.

Throw in the D-Beam, control pedal, etc...you get a lot for the dollar...good useable stuff..

The GW7 video was very well done...and long.
It impressed me how much detail was given on this board...and at the end the demo guy (I forget his name) played a complete song, probably ad libbed to avoid copyright issues, in its entirety. Made me want to go out and buy the thing! I've seen and played this board and was impressed with how much is included for the price - and it's very light in weight. It obviously doesn't do everything, but it provides bang for the buck, just like what I see and appreciate in the PSR3000 - a LOT for the $$$. Even tho the GW7 is very nice, it still doesn't hold a candle to my KR7! (I know...not a fair comparison).

some good sonds,nice cut,light keyboard(with 2 variation arranger sec).Overall sound doesnt impress me though (not really a fantom quality,most are revamped GM like tones).Drum/bass sounds are a little out date for a new KB.Well, this is an exr quality KB(with exr price)so you can't complain.
Save money for juno g or a used fantom if you like roland.
