The Standtastik stand looked good to me. I bought it, tried it, and returned it. Good idea, pins are not too bad. The problem was the design. It makes everything stick out way far. Here is the thread on my adventure. Hope it helps.

I haven't been able to find anything as versatile, lightweight and dependable as the old Ultimate Support A-frame. I have three of them, and recently made my own out of extra parts.

I'm not too sure why you would want to place all that non essential stuff right in front of you..... It could probably as easily be placed to one side of you, and obstruct the audience's view of you a LOT less.

Remember, they came to see YOU, not your gear!
