Thank you

I guess this thread answers my question? Arggggg !

Arranger KB marketing is on a downfall for sure here in the US sad that we always have to go on a treasure hunt to find, search & discover, missions all the time...

I'm afraid it ain't gonna happen for a while my friend....sad whats happening to the marketing of Keyboards.....it seems we have fallen to the morally wrong Buy and Return policy strategy!................

Today Fran & I went to two big music stores and unbelievably they only had low end KB's & old used and 3 year old model arrangers & synths Arggggg how depressing....best part no one cares either....

The Internet is ruining the retail music stores....in years to come you wont even see a store in your area....

Donny: I am guessing you and Fran went to the GC in Fairless and SA at Franklin Mills (or something similar).

I agree that the internet is changing the dynamics of the industry. If you think about it, advanced keyboards by nature are played by people you are technically adept. Therefore, they are going to shop on-line for price. The item is a commododity and the in-store sales people don't have the product knowledge. And even if they did, must people would still shop on-line for price anyway.

What that leaves the store with is sales for the less-sophisticated keyboards for arrangers and a couple of synths that they feel they can push out the door or at least stock to look legitimate.

Of course there are exceptions, like George Kaye. But I am sure even he depends on on-line sales for his business and when he does, he has to compete on price.

Fran.....as requested in the original post above "NON FACTORY"....Demos....
We went to the SA in Valley Forge which was well stocked with gear although no Pa800 or any Roland Arrangers....but surprisingly they had a 3k, 15k, PA50, Oasis, & a nice Hammond portable model........I've given up on getting excited about new KB's,
when they come, they come.....
