Hi,

I bought 4 months ago new PSR-3000.
Including some accessories for it.

I really don't like it, and i did a mistake not buying digital piano RD-700SX.

Its new, i haven't used it more than 20mins..

and i have nothing to do with it, still left 8 months of warranty.. any ideas what can i do with it? i want RD-700SX..

Thanks,

Liran

Yeah. Play it a lot longer than THAT!

Yeah, I agree with Scott here. Spend some more time on it. To really see if this boards for you, it will take hours, and days If you're looking for the "piano" feel and got the PSR-3000 at a good price, consider buying a low cost 88 key controller or even digital as an add on. Possibly Casio 100/310, Yamaha P-60/70. You can midi them up to the PSR-3000.

Scott and Squeak, you guys apparently have not played an RD700SX...If you did you would know why Liran wants to deal the PSR3000 off for the Roland..

the thing is i always dreamed about learning piano...

This keyboard is like All-in-one, the keyfeel is like kiddie. nothing special about it, i dont feel any special piano sound, and i dont really use all the all-in-one stuff...

Just want a good sound with a 88-key, and the RD-700SX is AMAZING! saw it on the store and the keyfeel and all the sounds are amazing, its also 128 poly and it also has capabilities of One man band, just not too many things at one keyboard.

PSR-3000 i think is good for those who wants to perform as one man band... but i want it to play for hobby in my house..

Wrong. I have, and of course know full well that the RD700SX includes an impressive hammer action keyboard feel, but considering the fact that Liram, for whatever reason, opted to purchase a synth action ARRANGER keyboard, not a digital piano, of which the considerably more costly RD700SX is, think he needs to first spend time to at least EXPLORE what the PSR3000 sounds & arranger featurs have to offer, and perhaps (as SqueakD also suggested) just add a 88 KB controller instead.

But Scott, the sound is not even in the same ballpark compared to the RD700SX..

I've played the Roland RD700SX. AWSOME BOARD! The action (obviously) and the piano sample is (in my opinion) way better than PSR-3000. It's a very nice stage piano.

However, the PSR-3000 isn't a bad board either. Adding an 88 key cotroller may just change your mind about the unit. Also if you don't need the styles and all the other features of the 3000, then by all means buy the Roland (can't go wrong with that board) The price is a bit steep, but you'll warm up to it quickly
