Do you know who originally sang the song “Can’t be with you tonight”.

I’m trying to track down the name of the original artist so I can sequence up a version identical to the original.

Any idea’s ?.
Also… did Neil Diamond do a version of this song ?.

Thanks a million for that but are you sure ?.
I had originally searched the net inside out and found that Judy only released a Reggae cover version of the song in 2001 when it was actually wrote back in the 80’s sometime.

I could be wrong.
Did Judy originally release a Ballade / 8 Beat type version of it back in the 80’s ?. If so, that would be that’s the version I’m trying to find the music score of.

She seems to be the original artist... reaching #2 in May 1987 (UK) with the song, given to her by songwriter Felix da Silva. I just edited my previous post to include the direct link to her page. It's pretty interesting, what with the Lizzie Webb story...
