Anyone use a midi controller keyboard with their PSR's? I've been considering a simple 61 key "Fatar" midi controller (has better action, along with pitchbend and modulation.) Are these controllers only used for performance purposes only when hooking up to the PSR's? Would I be able to use it for recording and all, or is it will it only control the voices and not allow me to use it to record. Also if it can be used for input in recording, how does the modulation play in that? The PSR-550 has no modulation so is there something in the midi set up that would allow the sound to be modulated???

Too bad Squeak, looks like you don't have any CONTROL over who replies. I've used my keyboard to control an arranger mod, but very simply. No help from me.
