Should I move to San Antonio, TX or remain in Detroit's suburbs, MI ? My family says that the economy in michigan is going down + homes are expensive - so which should we choose between SAN ANTONIO, TX - SEATTLE, WA - DETROIT'S suburbs, MI ?
+ Michigan is dirty
Pls answer and be gentle - this is really O.T.

San Antonio is warm almost all year. There is a large number of Mexicans, naturally. The economy is very good. There is much to do.
I think it would be a great place to live, but I haven't lived there.
I know it rains a lot in Seattle, but it's beautiful country.
I personally don't believe I'd like living in Detroit, but then I never have and don't have to.

Housing prices in CA are ridiculously high, way overpriced and from what I've heard, we (San Diegans) have managed to top the highest gas price in the nation.

Well things in Washington are definately out of whack. Housing here is fast approaching the same as California. A basic used 30-40 year old 1500 S.F. house will set you back about 300K. And if you want that house in the Seattle area plan on about spending another 100K. Of course if you want a new 2600 S.F. house make sure you bring 600-750K. My home has tripled in value since I have owned it. I think it went up 43% last year alone. CRAZY. Anyway it is real pretty here. Born and raised in Washington I have adjusted to the rain. It's not the rain that is a problem, its the grey skies that seem to go on and on. HOWEVER! Once spring is here. Hold onto your shorts. This place is absolutely Beautiful.

THE MEDIAN PRICE Home in San Jose just went up a tad to 735.000.00 Dollars.
The price of Ethyl at the Chevron on our street just went to 2.39 a gallon.
You need to earn near 100,000.00 a year to get by hear.
We also have a state income tax and sales tax is 8.25 % in our area.
PLUS...........we can average about 10 miles an hour on our freeways
However Today was 76 degrees under blue skys. and the surfs up
