It would be difficult to write a review or a news section without telling the readers the name of the product.

Since no body knows as of yet....it could very well be better then the T2 and its replacement...with the S700 as the 3k replacement?

Of course it makes sense...Yamaha is a sensible company...I'm the only fly in the ointment. as far as I know...

My source tells me tha PSR-S900 is the 3k replacement.

The PSR-S700 is the replacement for the current PSR-1500.

I've just been on Jazzhooves. It's interesting to see the Best in their class review.

That's because Leigh plays E-80 & Wersi combo. His tracks sound excellently in my opinion.

And, yes, it is strange that the S500 was not listed as 'best in its class'. Judging by its features it is alot better than the PSR-450.

C'mon people.yamaha is not stupid enough to sell it for $3100 where T2 is $3499.They have to beat Pa800(which has TC board and USB to device, full blown seq and full sound editing, after touch ,light weight yet solid hardware).

S 700 will be $999.

S 900 will be $1499,street.more or less(hopefully less-like 1199$ like psr 2100),since Yam's competition is mid level Rolands(e50,60).but with onboard VH and more styles,it's not hard to beat. But again keys and hardware will be the same as s500(Roland scores here).

Remember UK in general KB are more expensive than US(with few exceptions). In some east EU,psr 3000 is 1799 - 1899$ new.

I see alot of Yam bashing and Ketron promoting in that forum by so called T2 users(saying T2 is made for button pressors ,not musicians, bla bla).
I think someone(non Yam people) is badmouthing with the price(S900),since it'll still be a kickazz seller and a hit like 3k.
