Hi Guys:
I'm looking to buy the psr3000 although I'm haven't tried it yet...will do that tomorrow. I downloaded the manual and the question I have is this: The registration memory has 8 buttons to store information. The manual says there are 4 banks. Does that mean there are 4 banks for each button giving you a total of 32 storage banks or slots?
Also any other information you can tell me about the 3000 would be appreciated. I find it's always good to talk to musicians who have used it rather than a salesperson.

hi peter,as far as memory is concerned,, you can store 100,s of files on a smart media card ,and even more on a usb pen drive,both are cheap to buy and the access to these files are really fast,try these 2 sites for for the psr 3000 there is so much for you to learn there and the support is great,like here, http://psrtutorial.com/ operating is similar to psr 2000,click on forum for direct questions and the other site is ,http://www.svpworld.com/forum/ ,mike, also the psr3000 are set to FLAT if you adjust the EQ you will notice a much better sound from it,(you can find out how at psrtutorial.com)also take a set of headphones to try it out,its a nice keyboard

BTW, I think you can do unlimited Registrations. PSR3000, I wish I had one!

Not sure about regisitrations??
But I'm happy to say that I went to my local dealer today to bring one home. Bad news.............he was out them and had to order me one. Man oh Man was I disappointed. I've been looking and researching for 3 weeks and finally decided today was the day. It should be here in 2 weeks.

On the PSR3000 you have 8 dedicated buttons on the front panel to store registrations. After you fill these up you save this bank with either a number or a name. Now you can start with 8 new memory locations and when filled up you give this bank a name and save it along with the first one. You can keep doing this until you run out of memory either in the internal memory, a smart media card, or an external USB drive. So basically, you can keep adding banks of registrations until you can't think of anything else to save! You can even title the individual 8 saved memories in each bank so that you can look on the screen before choosing a button and know what song or style you are calling up by pushing the button.

To be honest with you if the salesperson spends time with me an is very helpfull then I feel it's only right to buy it from him. Thru email, he helped me with my questions, the price was right and he got the keyboard to me, into Chicago in the same week.
