The G1000 is before my time. After the G1000 came the G800, G600 right? How were they different?
What would possibly come next from Roland after the G70 is released? Will there be a 61 key model with speakers? Will they have the same sound engine, same ROM size?

Actually the G800 and G600 were before the G1000. The 1000 had substantial improvements over the 800. The 600 was a less expensive version of the 800.

Here is my prediction: A year after G70 will come a version with 61 keys and speakers. Then there will be a long lull in their arranger introductions - nothing new for 3 years.

The G70 isn't even here yet!!!! Let's keep some perspective. This thing is very unproven as yet!

Still not being stunned by the G-70, by hearing some online demo's and the specs.. but I don't think there won't be any stunning development on the next arranger. Roland tends to be very quiet for 3-4 years and then suddenly comes up with a new one we've been expecting.. I can't say enough times that I haven't heard the real thing yet, so I will still have to wait posting a complete review. But once it arrives in the stores I will go there and review it as well.

So.. Quite an early topic for the discussion of the G-70 follow up.

I've listened to the Yamaha Tyros in some online demo's as well and that's sounding also very nice. Also looking for a Tyros to try somewhere near me.
