Chico,

Thank you. I absolutely love Brazzilian music. I wish the PSR3000 had a better selection of Bosanova styles. This morning I was listening to some of the songs posted by Dreamer, and his styles sounded great, very authentic. Do you know of a good link where I could find some really smooth Bosanova styles?

Rick

Roy,

Yes, I use a standard Pc with special software called a screen reader that runs on top of the OS and reads whatever is displayed on the screen. It's a lot more complicated than that, but in a nut shell, that's what it is. It uses a software based text to speech engine that can be adjusted to speak in different voices, with adjustable rates of speech. Accessing anything on a Pc for the most part is no problem at all. Now, if only keyboards had the same kind of access, it would be a beautiful thing. Wishful thinking.

Enjoy the 3000!

Hi Rick

Welcome aboard. Yes, this to me is THE best forum out there. Great people here. Both friendly and knowledgable and ready to help.

I'll bet your 3000 sounds terrific through those z2200's. I'm glad you are enjoying the Logitech's.

Best

Rick, Welcome to our music home on the web. Many of us have travelled the same road as yourself with organs, and bands, and such. I myself had a Yamaha Electone D80 many years ago. That was a fine instrument. The Yamaha arranger organs are a great value and the support community is so large, it's almost impossible not to get help with something.

Once again and welcome

Al

Rick,
Welcome to the Synthzone and congratulations on your purchase of the 3000 and z-2200 system. I sincerely belive you will discover more things about this keyboard than you can imagine. When you need help, just pop in and ask. Someone will get back to you in short order with some solid information.

I have set up several keyboards for blind friends and this psr 3000 is among the easiest to get around on. Not many hidden features, no touch screen. It's pretty simple to access all the neccesary buttons, expect the few tricky ones hidden in menus.
Anyway ........ welcome to the family, and have a great stay!

I'm not sure if there is a noticable difference or not but the Tyros has 300 styles while the PSR-3000 has only 240, so at least you can take advantage of the difference.

And as you already said since the PSR-3000 has got the megavoice technology so it should be the closest and most compatible to Tyros

Thank you. Since the 3000 also has MegaVoices, are there really noticeable differences between the 3000 styles and the Tyros styles?

Actually, I own both, but for most stuff I prefer Window Eyes. They're both good screen readers, with each having their strengths and weaknesses.
