What should I buy? A used 2000 or a new 1500?

I'm leaning towards the the PSR1500, but I have to put it in lay-away...

Thanks

Sorry guys for being a pain in the rear end , but I found an PSR1100 for $650.00 @ music123.com and I can probably get it down to $600.00 or $575.00....Can I load new styles into the 1100?

Thanks

Thanks!

I have a salesperson @ music123, I can probabyl getting down to $550.00, or even $500.00 since is a discontinued item, I have an account with MF, but they never want to deal.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll call MF anyway and see if they want to deal.

You should be able to get a used PSR2000 for the same kind of money, which is what I would do. More goodies on it. The 1100 is basically the PSR1000. Which almost narrows this question down to do I want a PSR1000/1100 or would I prefer to have a used PSR2000 in like new shape for the same money? Answer this question honestly and you'll make the right move for YOU!

OK, if you like the USB, then add about another $200 to the figure and find a nice used PSR2100. Another option.

If you're thinking that USB connection on the 2100 is for storage--it's not. It just parallels the midi cable. Stick with the 1500, or better yet, save your pennies and buy a 3000.

Cheers,

Gary
