Just FYI.

It says you can store files on your computer's Hard Drive.
"Computer Connectivity – Why it's important
The PSR-1100 has a USB port on the back, making it extremely easy to connect the keyboard to a computer. Once you're connected, you open up your music to a wealth of possibilities. From your computer, you are able to copy data to and from the User or Floppy drive in the instrument to your computer's hard drive using the included File Utility software. It's convenient, fast and easy. And MIDI has never been so simple. Just install the included drivers and when you open your favorite music software program the PSR-1100 shows up as USB output ports One and Two – giving you 32 channels of MIDI playback."

Or What are you talking about......Just curious.

Thanks

1100 has half of 2100 's mem (750kb-I think)
so USB data doesnt really matter(useless).(unlike HD-eg-tyros).so loading from 1.44 mb FDisk is much easier.

1500,3k(though they have again twice mem than 1100,2100)the have "usb to device port"(where you can use thumb drives-(new features available on pro gear like motif es and triton xtreme)(which previous yam arranger model don't have).think about it.it's like having portable HD without the computer.so thousands of songs and styles at the touch of a button with no loading.(plus the 128 mb smart media card input)it's hard to beat.

so 1500 or 3k-you won't need to update for at least 3 yrs,I guess.
