I really want to thank all the members on this forum that donated to helping Synth Zone stay online. The response was fantastic and raised around $800 so far with some more mailed checks expected that will bring the total to around $1000. That will help to offset the costs of keeping Synth Zone online. You guys are unbelievable and your support is just fantastic. Thanks again to you all and I hope you all have a great holiday over Christmas. Here's a toast to another musical year together online.

Nigel,
You're more than welcome and I think it well worth the investment.
Happy Holidays to you and yours as well.

Cheers, Nigel. Put that PayPal Donate button up in the banner and hopefully you can generate some additional funds throughout the year. Pardon me for being forward, but do we get a gold star or something?

The paypal button is now on the main synthzone page as I assume a permanent feature. So when we are feeling flush we can all go and give it a push ! That very nearly rhymed

Hi Nigel,
Thanks for letting us know what the total was.
It's heartening to know that we are a bunch of real pals with hearts in the right place.
Actually, I have been chewing over how we could maintain the momentum and the suggestion from CASSP is worthy of further action. Your own banner with a simple message of voluntary financial contribution being welcome is a solid idea. Those of us who have already made a contribution need to be reminded that this needs to be an ongoing gesture for the future and perhaps a proud owner of a "star" or some such gimmick against our name would not only make us feel good but also remind us of the ongoing need for help.

cheers
Eddie J

Thanks for being so observant Tony W. But I for one hardly ever go to the Main Page and if you notice you have to scroll down quite a bit to reach that paypal button. Maybe Nigel could put it at the top of the page where it would be more readily accessible. And maybe for Nigel to put another paypal button on the Synth Zone "BBS" page. The more the merrier I always say.

Thanks again Nigel for providing a great place for fellow Keyboard players to congregate and share their passion and love of Music with each other and also in our case here - Arranger Keyboards. Merry Christmas!

Best regards,
Mike

Eddie and all, maybe a star or something unique would encourage others to ask what it was for and we could propogate the donation. You know, everybody wants to be a star.

Nigel, Wonderful to hear about the enthusiastic donation participation, especially knowing that our 'shared' financial contributions are going towards ensuring that the Synthzone Arranger Keybord forum (our 'favorite spot' on the web) will continue to thrive for years to come. Happy holidays to all. - Scott
