You could pay for it by eliminating one of the roadies necessary to transport the G1000.

Last week, I saw Lee Ann Womack in concert. Afterwards, I went up and looked at the keyboard and I've already forgotten the model, haha. But anyway, it was easily one of the best sounding piano sounds I've ever heard. Of course, no telling what kind of gizmos they have hooked up to that thing, but it was a Roland. The keyboard took a few solos and ooh-la-lah... shweeeeeet.

I once owned a G1000 too, but then graduated to the Tyros too. Good idea, I know you'll never regret it.

Fran do what I did, keep the G1000 and go and buy a Tyros 2 to go with it
All I need now is to get rid of the SD1 as it looks lonely in it's case
