Hi to all Tyros fans (and other fans of course),
Well, todays little Tyros teaser.
Styles, well maybe I was a little fast on the trigger when I said I didn't find the good backbeat (ie. Tulsa Time as mentioned above). Correct me if I'm wrong, Simon (and other Tyros owners), but the variations are true variations on this board. What I mean is, instead of the progression from var A to D being layers of instruments and maybe the hi-hat changing with cymbal etc, there are quite a few styles that match two and two. For example A to B, and C to D. This is true for Blues rock, some of the 60's rock, quite a few of the jazz styles and more. What this does is that it gives you more styles. Of course B to C in this case is still the same beat, but noticeably different arranged. Personally I think this is great, because you can still remove instruments while you are playing and make your own variation the traditional way anyway.
I installed a 20Gb harddisk yesterday, and I'm ready to build/sequence and convert styles and files from the 9000.
Roy-Andrč, enjoying the Tyros!
