For years I sang the "push air" song about speakers and their effectiveness, but lately - I have performed many venues where power and punch would be a poor choice. Adding some smooth bass and a little sizzle is all that's needed in many places to fill the room with a pleasing ambiant sound.

I've been at this game long enough to know that sometimes I'm the center of attention and sometimes I'm musical wallpaper. The trick is knowing when to be each.

But having TWO PA's for those different circumstances seems excessive. You can turn DOWN a powerful PA for those 'wallpaper' moments, but you can't turn UP a computer monitor system for when you ARE the center of attention...

Compress your performance enough that you don't risk blowing those little speakers up, and you end up with a very flat, canned, 'muzak'-like sound... Hopefully, NOT what you are after..!

There are litterally dozens of individuals in this part of the world using the Logitech systems in small niteclubs, upscale restaurants, nursing homes, bars, etc., and all report good to excellent results.

Good Luck,

I'm with ya on this one Gary....on another note,
DIKI AND CASSP, in all honesty, have you tried them or even listened to them???
Just curious....
