Roland doesn't include the pcmcia adapter because each user can have different media (SD, CF, Memory Stick, SmartMedia,...); how can they know which one to include?

Looks like i won't need a pcmcia card adapter anyway there seems to be plenty onboard for saving all my registrations .

I am impressed with the sounds of the Roland . Great piano good guitars , good hammond sounds . Less fancy gimmicks more professional sound imho .

Easy, just include a "7 in 1" card reader

For what I know, "7 in 1" card readers are available only with USB connection, not as PCMCIA cards. Am I wrong?

You're probably right, but my guess is that they could
do it "as easely as that" if they just wanted to.

It is always a matter of final cost for the user: eveything is included in a musical instrument will cost to the customer much more than buying the same thing (if needed) in a computer shop.
Hence, why should I pay 4 times its real value something that maybe I'll never use?
