Got to today's show...a Christmas in July party at a nice retirement community. The first sign that something was wrong was when I pulled up a registration for the "Christmas Song" and found it to be empty. I tried to load it again...and it still didn't work. I turned my Tyros off/on...tried a 3rd time...no luck.
Bill. Hmmm. Perhaps your Tyros is smarter than you thought, protecting you from playing typically inappropriate songs for the season (summer).
Seriously though, were you calling up the Christmas Song registration file from your Tyros' User Memory area, Tyros Hard Drive, or from a floppy disk? If you have the same "Christmas Song" registration file BACKED UP somewhere else (either on your PC or on a CD or another floppy diskette) I suggest loading that copy of the file to see if it comes up empty too. If it works fine, I suspect the regfile you called up during your gig may have just become corrupted for whatever reason.

Can a cricket do any damage to the inside of the keyboard? Or rather, will he eventually just die from lack of food?
Hmmm. Depends on what your cricket enjoys eating I suppose. Perhaps yours enjoyed a little Yuletime treat on your Christmas Song Reg. As far as the kb itself is concerned, the worst thing I suppose (at least from the cricket's pov would to get squished
beneath one of the keys during one of your fast keyboard runs.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist the sick humor.
I really hope your cricket's found another home by now.
