I have to echo Graham's statements about the 5700. I had two of them, paid $3,200 for each, and at the time, there were the best keyboard you could get your hands on. The piano sounds were superior to any, and it sounded almost like a baby grand. The vibe sounds were outstanding, as was the harmonica voice, but the sax sounds were just plain awful. It only has 35 styles, and while there are thirds party styles availble, most of those were not very good. It has a built-in, 50-watt amp that really sounds good, but it was still not powerful enough to perform small venues.
As for comparison to the 2000/2100 there is none. While the piano sounds were better, all the other features, voices, styles and attributes of the 2000/2001 makes them the best keyboard for the money on the planet IMO. And, for the performing musician, the navigation of the 2000, plus very rapid access of the disk styles and registrations make this the keyboard of choice. Right out of the box, you'll find yourself loving this board. I was among the first in the mid-Atlantic region to buy a 2000 and though I play it every day and night, I'm still discovering things that were not in the instruction maual that make it sound even better than anyone would have believed possible.
Hope this is of some help in making your decission,
Gary
