I've heard that as well, but everything I have seems to work just fine. Three cameras, two keyboards, two laptops, MP3 player, GPS and Depth Finder all work without a glitch. What doesn't work? Cheers, Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy

All USB devices will work with USB Hubs providing you remember these simple rules. 1. A USB socket will only output a limited amount of power to feed devices, if the devices have there own power supply then there is no problem, however if a number of them do not, then this may overload the socket, so that some of the devices may not work, if this is the case, then buy a USB hub with its own power supply which will solve the problem. 2. USB 2 is backward compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 1, but if the device is USB 1.1 or 1 then no mater how fast the hub, it will only transfer data at USB 1.1 or 1 speed. 3. The cheaper USB hubs do not separate the additional sockets, so that if you plug a USB 1.1 or 1 device in, then the hub will only run at the slower speed, even though another device you plug in is USB 2, (Hubs are available to solve this problem) however I get round the problem by having 2 powered hubs connected my computer, one of which is USB 1.1 and the second is a USB 2, and whatever speed the USB devices are, I just plug them in to the appropriate hub. Point to note up to 127 devices can be connected to each USB socket on the computer. (You will need a big hub though) Hope this helps.
